As a DevOps/Data Engineer, your role will be far from typical. You will be a crucial part of an agile and dynamic team, where you have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and cutting-edge tools. From using AWS tools to design, enhance and optimize our data implementation infrastructure to creating key data systems and data pipelines to experimenting and working with our data science team to deploy various algorithms to develop a deeper understanding of shopper behaviour.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Deploying, managing and securing Kubernetes clusters in multiple environments.
  • Dockerizing applications for deployment on Kubernetes
  • Integrating and managing CI/CD systems
  • Deploying and maintaining HA Hadoop clusters
  • Ensuring infrastructure and data security. Setting up LDAP, 2FA Auth, etc.
  • Deploying and securing serverless APIs
  • Setting up unified log aggregation, storage and monitoring
  • Optimising server hardware for cost and performance
  • Release management and automation
  • Optimize ML models to scale on large clusters
  • Deploy ML models to production
  • Design ETL pipelines for large and diverse datasets
  • Test-driven development where possible
