In your role as a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the progress, quality and success of your client portfolio. Your voice matters, so exhibiting effective communication skills at all levels across the organization is paramount. We would love for you to be part of our team!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide regular updates on program/project progress, timelines and risk mitigation recommendations
  • Review key program/project milestones and adjust as needed in relation to business priorities
  • Facilitate effective, regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Provide program/project status reports to Management
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions
  • Prepare and deliver key program/project status reports and assessments
  • Act as an initial escalation point for the program/project team
  • Utilize time-tracking tools for reporting and forecasting
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Mercatus Implementation Methodology

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of Enterprise SaaS/software solutions
  • Understanding of software, services contracts and agreements
  • Prior experience with e-commerce (an asset)
  • Understanding of grocery and/or retail industry (an asset)
  • Industry expertise relevant to Mercatus clients (an asset)

Experience

  • 5+ years of program/project management or relevant work experience

Education

  • Completion of Post-Secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Certified PMP (an asset)
  • Agile Certified Practitioner or Certified Scrum Master® (an asset)

Travel

  • This position may require up to 15% travel.
